Pom BUNSERMVICHA (b. 1993, Thailand) is a non-binary filmmaker based in Bangkok, Thailand. Their work, which mostly combines documentary elements with fiction, has been shown at festivals in Southeast Asia
and abroad, including International Film Festival Rotterdam, Locarno Film Festival, MoMA’s Doc Fortnight,
Hamburg International Short Film Festival, and SeaShorts.
Since 2015, Pom has concentrated their efforts in aiding the growth of independent cinema in Southeast Asia through their work with SEAFIC and Purin Pictures. As an independent producer, Pom has developed and co-produced projects by established and emerging filmmakers from Thailand at Electric Eel Films and Vertical Films.
Pom is an alumni of Berlinale Talents and Open Doors Lab .
